Scotty’s Brewhouse
Scotty’s Brewhouse is an unexpectedly hip company with several restaurant locations throughout the state of Indiana. As of late 2010, the company is still contained within Indiana borders, but Scotty’s concept is bursting to expand far beyond one state. With award-winning recipes and outstanding customer service, this growth is eminent.
Scotty’s Brewhouse attribute their success to their skillful use of social media. Scott Wise, the owner, has been crowned as the Social Media King of Indy. It is only fitting that when the Social Network movie came out, Scotty saw an opportunity to create more conversation around his brand. He bought out two showings of the Social Network movie and gave away all the tickets to his loyal Facebook fans and Twitter followers. And then he asked YouGo Network to produce a spoof of the Social Network trailer featuring the Brewhouse. We had three days to write, plan, shoot, edit and deliver. This is the video that played on the BIG screen in front of 150 people, two nights in a row. This is also the video that attracted over 3000 views on YouTube in less than 10 days.
